I am Beyza
Several times a year, I travel through Anatolia, searching for special kilims, ancient textiles, and a deeper connection to my cultural roots.
I carefully curate the pieces I discover along the way for Wild Heart Free Soul, and have them naturally cleaned and gently restored by our team in Antalya and Istanbul.
I am particularly fascinated by textiles that carry something within them: history, human traces, and the quiet beauty of lived craftsmanship.
Liveable Art
Kelim weaving is part of a millennia-old nomadic tradition. Many of the symbols and patterns of Anatolian kilims have been preserved and passed down through generations to this day.
Traditional kilims are more than textile objects. They carry memory, symbolism, and the signature of the women who wove them.
Each piece is unique - handcrafted, full of character, and lived history. Almost like a woven poem.
