Sometimes something new begins with a memory.

RUGLET is exactly that:
A revival of the pop-up bazaars with which it all began –
and at the same time a new chapter for Wild Heart Free Soul.
More lightness. More music. More space for chance, beauty and encounter.
On Saturday, July 19, 2025, we celebrate the very first RUGLET BAZAAR –
from 12 PM to 6 PM, with free admission at the WHFS Showroom on Kastanienallee 55.
What awaits you:
Curated chaos. Good finds. Plenty of emotion.
We're transforming our showroom for one day into a lively bazaar –
somewhere between a living room and a concept store, between a bazaar and a dance floor.
You'll find there:
- Vintage kilims, carpets & pillows at soft prices
- Antique and semi-antique textiles from Anatolia, Africa, India & Uzbekistan Kaftans & dresses, worn, collected, loved
- Second-hand treasures from my personal wardrobe Handmade Tuareg jewelry from Niger
- Sami & his legendary vintage guitar collection
- Hand-carved wooden objects & lamps made from olive trees (Portugal)
Every piece has been carefully selected.
Not because it's "in" – but because it has soul.
Music: Daniel Wang live
The music? From none other than disco legend Daniel Wang.
For over two decades, he has shaped the Berlin club scene:
Ostgut, Café Moskau, Cocktail d'Amore, Paloma Bar – you name it.
His sets are a dance between eras, cultures, and moods.
Daniel loves house & disco, but also African fabrics, Persian vases, and Turkish kilims.
He is a collector of beautiful things, a wanderer between worlds – and a close friend of WHFS.
On July 19, he'll provide the soulful soundtrack,
that carries you through the fabric and gets you moving.
Valla Vino: Natural Wine meets Nomad Flair
Valla Vino provides cool drinks – founded by our friend and WHFS customer Marco Aslim and his partner Lissi Ahrens-Heimer.
The two restaurateurs combine their love for wine with a feel for aesthetics, travel, and culinary diversity.
After two years in Markthalle Pfefferberg, Valla Vino is now located at Lychener Straße 3 –
and participates in events as a partner.
Their selection of natural wines is sensual, surprising, honest –
just like the RUGLET BAZAAR.
Memories to take away
For all who want to capture the moment,
there will be a Kilim Photo Wall with a professional photo shoot.
Show yourself as you are – barefoot, dancing, in a caftan or with your newly found treasure under your arm.
A return to my roots
This bazaar is not an event "for sales".
It is a tribute – to what led me here.
Before Wild Heart Free Soul, my label was called LALIP.
I organized pop-up bazaars with kaftans from India, vintage fashion,
second-season pieces from Berlin labels like Cabinet by Departmentstore or Ikou Tschüss.
When I founded Wild Heart Free Soul in 2014, it was a kilim bazaar – nothing more, nothing less.
A pop-up with soul. An invitation to dream together.
I loved setting up tents in changing locations:
Berlin, Cologne, Munich, Hamburg, Stuttgart – everywhere was home for a weekend.
I was never just a dealer.
I was a host.
A nomad at heart.
With open hands and open doors.
RUGLET today – and tomorrow?
But this bazaar is not just a look back –
it is also an invitation to look forward.
With RUGLET, I want to dare more again.
Create more temporary spaces.
More collaboration with artists, collectors, creative souls,
who – like me – prefer to dance outside than to sort inside.
It shouldn't stop at this one bazaar.
RUGLET will be allowed to wander.
Perhaps soon into a courtyard. To a festival. Into a gallery.
With carpets, music, stories.
With the idea: You don't need a perfect space. Just an honest one.
And who knows – maybe a platform will even grow out of it:
A place for all those who want to share beautiful things,
who live their own style
and prefer to find than to search.
RUGLET is not a trend.
It's a feeling.
A state.
A dance between things.
A way of life – on the ground, but not down and out.
I hope you can feel that when you come.
That you take something with you – perhaps a kilim, perhaps just an impulse.
But something that stays.
And if you like, stay a little longer afterwards.
Have a drink with us, look around, tell your story.
Because that's where the magic comes from – when a space is not just full,
but soulful.
