Our vintage kilims come from various regions of Anatolia in Turkey. They were handcrafted on traditional looms and bear the personal signature of their weavers.
Weaving technique, pattern, and color scheme vary depending on the region and the individual piece. Traditional craftsmanship and individual design combine in these textiles. This diversity defines the Wild Heart Free Soul collection.
Daily care
Vacuum regularly and carefully using low suction power and without the rotating brush. Avoid the fringes. A suitable rug pad provides grip and protects the fabric. Protect from prolonged direct sunlight.
For stains
Blot spilled liquids immediately with a clean, white cotton cloth. Do not rub or soak. Please consult us before any further stain treatment and avoid using stain removers or home remedies.
Cleaning
Thorough cleaning should be carried out by a specialist firm that deals with hand-woven kilims. Do not machine wash or steam clean.
