Our vintage kilims come from various regions of Anatolia in Turkey. They were handcrafted on traditional looms and bear the personal signature of the people who wove them.
Weaving techniques, patterns, and colors vary depending on the region and the individual piece. Each textile combines traditional craftsmanship with individual design – a diversity from which we personally curate our collection.
Everyday use
Vacuum regularly and carefully using low suction power and without the rotating brush. Avoid the fringes. A suitable rug pad provides stability and protects the fabric. Protect from continuous direct sunlight.
For stains
Blot spilled liquids immediately with a clean, white cotton cloth. Do not rub or soak. Please consult us regarding any further stain treatment and avoid using stain removers or household remedies.
Cleaning
A thorough cleaning should be carried out by a specialist company experienced in hand-woven kilims. Do not machine wash or steam clean.
