This hand-woven vintage kilim originates from Acıpayam in the Denizli province and dates back to the 1960s. Stepped diamonds and smaller geometric motifs form a dense field of sun yellow, orange, red, rose, sage green, gray, and dark brown. Fine color variations and slight irregularities define its vibrant, graphic character.

Our vintage kilims come from various regions of Anatolia in Turkey. They were handcrafted on traditional looms and carry the personal signature of the people who wove them.
Weaving techniques, patterns, and colors vary by region and piece. Each weave combines traditional craftsmanship with individual design—a variety from which we personally curate our collection.
Everyday use
Vacuum regularly and carefully using a low suction setting and without a rotating brush. Avoid the fringes. A suitable rug pad provides stability and protects the fabric. Protect from prolonged direct sunlight.
For stains
Blot spilled liquids immediately with a clean, white cotton cloth. Do not rub or soak. Please consult us before attempting further stain treatment and avoid the use of stain removers or household remedies.
Cleaning
Thorough cleaning should be carried out by a specialist company experienced with hand-woven kilims. Do not machine wash or steam clean.
