Our vintage kilims come from various regions of Anatolia in Turkey. They were handcrafted on traditional looms and bear the personal signature of the people who wove them.
Weaving techniques, patterns, and color schemes vary depending on the region and the piece. Each fabric combines traditional craftsmanship with individual design – a variety from which we personally curate our collection.
Daily use
Regularly vacuum carefully on a low suction setting without the rotating brush. Avoid the fringes. A suitable rug pad provides stability and protects the fabric. Protect from prolonged direct sunlight.
For stains
Blot up spilled liquids immediately with a clean, white cotton cloth. Do not rub or soak. Please consult with us regarding any further stain treatment and avoid using spot cleaners or household remedies.
Cleaning
Thorough cleaning should be carried out by a specialist professional in hand-woven kilims. Do not machine wash or steam clean.
