Our vintage kilims come from various regions of Anatolia in Turkey. They were handcrafted on traditional looms and bear the personal hallmark of the people who wove them.
Weaving techniques, patterns, and colors vary by region and piece. Each weave combines traditional craftsmanship with individual design – a diversity from which we personally curate our collection.
Daily care
Vacuum regularly with low suction and without the rotating brush, using caution. Avoid the fringe. A suitable rug pad provides stability and protects the fabric. Protect from prolonged direct sunlight.
For stains
Blot up spilled liquids immediately with a clean, white cotton cloth. Do not rub or soak. Please consult us before attempting further stain treatment and avoid using stain removers or household remedies.
Cleaning
Thorough cleaning should be performed by a specialist trained in hand-woven kilims. Do not machine wash or steam clean.
