Our vintage kilims come from various regions of Anatolia in Turkey. They were handcrafted on traditional looms and bear the personal signature of their weavers.
Weaving techniques, patterns, and colors differ depending on the region and the piece. The textiles combine traditional artisanal knowledge with individual design. This diversity defines the Wild Heart Free Soul collection.
Daily use
Vacuum regularly and carefully using low suction and no rotating brush. Avoid the fringes. A suitable rug pad provides stability and protects the fabric. Protect from prolonged direct sunlight.
For stains
Immediately blot spilled liquids with a clean, white cotton cloth. Do not rub or soak. Please consult us before any further stain treatment and refrain from using stain removers or home remedies.
Cleaning
Thorough cleaning should be carried out by a specialist familiar with hand-woven kilims. Do not machine wash or steam clean.
