Our vintage kilims come from various regions of Anatolia in Turkey. They were handcrafted on traditional looms and bear the personal signature of their weavers.
Weaving technique, pattern, and color palette differ depending on the region and the individual piece. Traditional craftsmanship and individual design combine in these textiles. This diversity defines the Wild Heart Free Soul collection.
Daily care
Vacuum regularly and carefully using a low suction setting and without the rotating brush. Avoid the fringes. A suitable rug pad provides stability and protects the weave. Protect from prolonged direct sunlight.
For stains
Blot spilled liquids immediately with a clean, white cotton cloth. Do not rub or soak. Please consult us before attempting further stain treatment and avoid stain removers or household remedies.
Cleaning
A thorough cleaning should be performed by a specialist trained in hand-woven kilims. Do not machine wash or steam clean.
