Our vintage kilims come from various regions of Anatolia in Turkey. They were handcrafted on traditional looms and bear the personal signature of the people who wove them.
Weaving techniques, patterns, and colors vary by region and piece. Each weave combines traditional craftsmanship with individual design – a diversity from which we personally curate our collection.
Daily care
Vacuum regularly and carefully using a low suction setting without the rotating brush. Avoid the fringes. A suitable rug pad provides stability and protects the fabric. Protect from prolonged direct sunlight.
For stains
Blot up spilled liquids immediately with a clean, white cotton cloth. Do not rub or soak. Please consult us before attempting further stain treatment and do not use stain removers or household remedies.
Cleaning
Thorough cleaning should be carried out by a specialist familiar with hand-woven kilims. Do not machine wash or steam clean.
