Sun-faded treasure from Seyitgazi
This vintage kilim was crafted in a small weaving mill in Seyitgazi, Anatolia, a town with a long tradition of craftsmanship. At its center are diamonds intertwined with stars, eyes, and the Buğak motif - symbols of love, protection, and destiny. Woven in the 1970s using pure sheep's wool, we have now restored it, gently washed it, shaped it, and dried it in sunlight.

Kilim symbols and their interpretation

The central diamonds speak of spiritual protection and human connection:

  • Göz (Eye): Symbol of protection, clarity and perception
  • Yıldız (Star): Represents light, guidance and a good destiny
  • Buğak (shackle): A symbol of deep bond, love and togetherness

Worn together in a geometric composition, they express the wish: May love be strong – under a good star, protected from all harm.

Colors with quiet power

Brick, saffron, rose beige, sage, gray-blue, turquoise, pink - these tones appear as if painted by light itself. Sun-faded, soft, and vibrant, they radiate a quiet warmth that touches without dominating.

For rooms with lightness

Its medium format makes this kilim a tranquil anchor for living or sleeping areas. The harmonious composition of colors and symbols creates a sense of balance and subtle depth.

Gently restored & sun-clean

Like all of our pieces, this textile artwork by Wild Heart Free Soul has been carefully restored and naturally cleaned with the power of the sun.
