Vintage Kilim Kars 162x91cm
This original vintage kilim was hand-woven in Anatolia in the second half of the 20th century by a nomad or village woman by using her own hand-spun sheep-wool.
This woven piece of art is one of a kind and was made for personal use, as a floor rug, tent hanging or cover for the transpiration bags on the camels of the nomads.
The pattern and all symbols on this kilim have special meanings. They shall protect, bring luck and increase love and unity within the family or tribe.
