Our vintage kilims come from various regions of Anatolia in Turkey. They were handcrafted on traditional looms and bear the personal signature of their weavers.
Weaving techniques, patterns, and color schemes differ depending on the region and the individual piece. These textiles combine ancestral craftsmanship with individual design. This diversity defines the Wild Heart Free Soul collection.
Daily use
Vacuum regularly and carefully using low suction power and without the rotating brush. Avoid the fringes. A suitable rug pad provides stability and protects the weave. Protect from prolonged direct sunlight.
For stains
Blot spilled liquids immediately with a clean, white cotton cloth. Do not rub or soak. Please consult us before any further stain treatment and refrain from using stain removers or home remedies.
Cleaning
A thorough cleaning should be carried out by a specialist firm experienced in hand-woven kilims. Do not machine wash or steam clean.
