Our vintage kilims come from various regions of Anatolia in Turkey. They were handcrafted on traditional looms and bear the personal signature of their weavers.
Weaving techniques, patterns, and color schemes differ depending on the region and the individual piece. Traditional craftsmanship and individual design combine in these textiles. This diversity defines the Wild Heart Free Soul collection.
Daily use
Vacuum regularly and carefully using a low suction setting and without a rotating brush. Avoid the fringes. A suitable rug pad provides stability and protects the fabric. Protect from continuous direct sunlight.
For stains
Blot spilled liquids immediately with a clean, white cotton cloth. Do not rub or soak. Please consult us before attempting further stain treatment and do not use stain removers or household remedies.
Cleaning
Thorough cleaning should be carried out by a specialist company experienced with hand-woven kilims. Do not machine wash or steam clean.
